Where an organisation holds a Part 145, Part CAO or Part M subpart F approval issued by Swiss Authority (FOCA) that was issued prior to 01 January 2021. The organisation must now hold an appropriate UK issued approval for a UK owner or operator to continue to use the organisation. This exemption allows for the recognition of the Swiss Authority (FOCA) approval to continue while the CAA is processing the application for the UK approval.
