Single engine piston (SEP) and touring motor glider (TMG) class ratings may be revalidated using flying experience gained within the validity of the rating. Class and type rating skill tests and proficiency checks gained in other classes or types of aeroplane may be used in part to fulfil the necessary requirements for revalidating the SEP And TMG class ratings. <BR><BR>This exemption allows certain skill tests, proficiency checks and assessments of competence undertaken for other purposes to be used as well towards revalidating the SEP and TMG class ratings in aeroplane licences issued by the UK CAA in accordance with the Aircrew Regulation.
