This report describes the procedures used by the Environmental Research and Consultancy Department (ERCD) for measuring and analysing noise and radar data from aircraft operations. Good practice measurement guidance is also provided to airports and other stakeholders on issues to consider when conducting their own aircraft noise studies.
This report replaces ERCD Report 0406 "Techniques used by ERCD for the Measurement and Analysis of Aircraft Noise and Radar Data", which has been withdrawn.
