This document sets out our Final Decision on extending the commitments in Gatwick Airport Limited’s (“GAL”) economic licence and gives notice under section 22(6) of the Civil Aviation Act 2012 (“CAA12”) of the modifications we have decided to make to implement this decision. The effect of these modifications is to accept GAL’s new commitments as the basis for economic regulation of GAL for the four year period from 2025/26 to 2028/29.
This decision follows on from our Final Proposals and the notice under section 22(2) of CAA12 on these matters, which we published in February 2025, and our earlier consultations in August 2024 and June 2023.
