It replaces CAP 1251 Air Traffic Controllers – Licensing and CAP 584 Air Traffic Controllers – Training which have been withdrawn. CAP 2331A , a table of comparison with CAP 584 and CAP 1251 showing where paragraphs from CAP 584 and CAP 1251 have been incorporated into CAP 2331 has also been published.
Effective date: 6 months following publication. CAP 584 and 1251 will remain accessible for a period of time for information purposes, however CAP 2331 can be referenced for current processes, information and guidance until this date.
