In support of Statutory Instrument (SI) 2023 No 588, The Aviation Safety (Amendment) Regulations 2023, laid before Parliament on 30 May 2023, this Decision amends Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) to Annex 1 (Part 21) of UK Regulation (EU) 748/2012 (UK Initial Airworthiness) as regards the introduction of safety management systems (SMS) in Design and Production organisations and effective occurrence reporting which will come into force on 1st July 2024.
