We are undertaking a series of consultations this autumn which support our commitment to the Government to both establish the UK Airspace Design Service and consult on improvements to the effectiveness and proportionality of our process for changing airspace.
- Consultation on the airspace change process (CAP 3157) closes 18 December 2025
- Consultation on draft guidance for the UK Airspace Design and Coordination Services (CAP 3158) closes 12 January 2026
- Consultation on the requirements for the UK Airspace Coordination Service and associated guidance (CAP 3159) closes 12 January 2026
- Final proposals for modifying NERL’s licence to support the implementation of a UK Airspace Design Service to commence later in 2025
