The detailed policy requirements and design criteria are set out in CAP 777 - ATC Surveillance Minimum Altitude Charts in UK Airspace. The Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) is responsible for the design, accuracy and currency of the ATSMAC and for ensuring that minimum periodic reviews are undertaken.
Sponsors wishing to introduce a new or amend an existing ATCSMAC should notify the CAA using the form available in CAP 777, an example of which is contained in the CAP.
