UK Civil Aviation Authority launches consultation on the simplification and rationalisation of General Aviation pilot licences
The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has today (18 October 2022) proposed a simpler process to gain a pilot licence and training for the General Aviation community.

Interim Head of Civil Aviation Authority’s General Aviation Unit announced
The CAA has appointed Sophie O’Sullivan as the interim Head of its General Aviation Unit
Sophie is currently the Head of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) department having set up this unit in 2018 and will now run the GAU alongside her current role for the duration of the seven-month secondment period.

Update from the General Aviation Unit on Q3 2023 activities
