This permission has been issued to correct an omission in the Air Navigation Order 2016. It replicates the effect of what was previously Article 23(1)(c) of the Air Navigation Order 2009, which allowed aircraft flying in accordance with a National Permit to Fly aircraft to fly for the purpose of aerial work that consisted of flying displays, associated practice, test and positioning flights or the exhibition or demonstration of the aircraft.
