Reports on three follow-on studies to the flight trials of Differential GPS guidance for helicopter approaches to offshore platforms reported in CAA Paper 2000/5. The three studies comprise: an analysis of the largest horizontal position errors observed; an investigation of the difficulties encountered with the MF correction system used; an investigation of the likely effects of single satellite un-availabilities.
