The following Policy Statement sets out the Civil Aviation Authority position
regarding the establishment of ATZs. The revised Policy Statement is issued coincidental
with the UK Air Navigation Order (ANO) amendment that allows for flying
training to be conducted at unlicensed aerodromes.
