UK – EU Transition, and UK Civil Aviation Regulations

To access current UK civil aviation regulations, including AMC and GM, CAA regulatory documents, please use this link to UK Regulation. Please note, if you use information and guidance under the Headings below, the references to EU regulations or EU websites in our guidance will not be an accurate information or description of your obligations under UK law. These pages are undergoing reviews and updates.

No single authority or organisation is responsible for the environmental impact of aviation in the UK. It is necessary to consider the distribution of activities in order to gain an understanding of the work surrounding aviation and the environment. Duties are allocated between the CAA, international organisations, Government, local authorities, a wide range of industry bodies and other interested parties. Information on the activities of some of the major environmental stakeholders is available below:

Air traffic management
Airlines
Airport consultative committees
Airports
Environmental groups
