This information notice amends IN-2014/141 published in August 2014 and provides an updated set of FAQs and answers following recent developments and updates from both the European Commission and EASA. On 20th April 2014 Regulation (EU) No. 376/2014 on the reporting, analysis and follow-up of occurrences in civil aviation came into effect. It becomes applicable on 15th November 2015. On 29th June 2015 in support of the Regulation, Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 2015/1018 was published, laying down a list classifying occurrences in civil aviation to be mandatorily reported. Organisations have until 15 November 2015 to comply with the Regulation.
