AvStats is a new system for processing and reporting Airport and Airline Data previously managed by AASTATS.
The system is now live and the first submission within AvStats will be for data relating to April 2016.
AvStats has been designed to make it easier to provide and access data.
Please see our guidance on:
Guidance documents are also available that explain how to use the system and who is required
to use it.
There are two main changes:
AvStats will reject incomplete or incorrect data. If this happens you will receive an email that explains why the
submission was rejected.
The new system streamlines the submission process and the latest upgrade of Phase 2 development, in December 2017, implements new business rules that further check the validity of reported airports and operators. Now that we have implemented this upgrade we can focus on developing new tools to enhance reporting options for suppliers.
The Civil Aviation Authority has made a public commitment to publish more industry information unless there are
legal or other reasons that prevent us from doing so.
If you have questions about AvStats please email AvStatsSupplierEnquiry@caa.co.uk or call 0207 453 6400.
