    Eligibility criteria

    If you apply for a licence, eligibility criteria will need to be met by you and individuals appointed by you to undertake prescribed roles. If the eligibility criteria is not met then we will be unable to grant you a licence or accept individuals appointed as prescribed roles.     Fit and Proper Persons

    Additionally, both you and those appointed by you to carry out the activities to be authorised by your licence must be determined to be fit and proper persons. We will use the information supplied with your application, supported in some circumstances by the interview of applicable individuals to assess if a person is fit and proper. (SIA section 8(3) and Regulator's Licensing Rules and the CAA’s fitness of character policy).     Financial and organisational

    To be granted a licence you must be able to evidence you have the financial and technical resources in place to undertake the activities to be authorised by your licence.
