• Skill tests or proficiency checks conducted by non-UK EASA-approved examiners

    Skill tests and proficiency checks must be conducted by an EASA-approved examiner. If the examiner for your skill test or proficiency check was approved by an EASA member state other than the UK, you will need to provide certified copies of the following:

    • Your skill test examiner’s licence, medical and examiner authorisation certificate
    • An email showing test notification has been authorised by the UK CAA (see IN 2016/003 for details)
    • The relevant simulator approval certificate if you have used a simulator

    Copies must be certified by either the Head of Training at your ATO or a UK Examiner.
