Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd - ATOL 9357 has ceased trading on 16th March 2017.

The company based in Market Harborough traded under the names Diamond Holidays, Diamond Rail Holidays and The River Cruise Line and under the websites www.diamondhols.co.uk, www.diamondrailholidays.co.uk and www.rivercruiseline.co.uk.

For bookings which do not include a flight element, consumers should contact ABTA on www.abta.com.

Consumers due to travel 

If you booked a flight inclusive package with Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd and were issued with an ATOL Certificate and confirmation which states 'Package sale', you can make a claim for a refund of the amount you paid to Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd for your ATOL Protected package (depending upon your original method of payment, see details for original payments made by credit card). 

Payments made directly to Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd

If you paid for your original trip either partially or fully by credit card directly to Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd, your claim will be with the credit card provider for the portion you paid by credit card and the CAA for payments by other methods.

If you paid for your original trip by any other methods directly to Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd your claim will be with the CAA.

Payments made via a Travel Agent of Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd

If you paid for your original trip by any method (including credit card) to a Travel Agent of Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd your claim will be with CAA. 

Assignment to other ATOL holder(s)

We understand that ATOL holder(s) may offer to provide you with a replacement trip, on the understanding that you assign your ATOL claim to them.  You may choose to accept this offer and complete section 7 of the claim form, assigning your ATOL refund to the ATOL holder of your choice, and return the claim form to that ATOL holder. All further communication relating to your claim will be sent to the ATOL holder you have chosen to assign your claim to.

Travel Agents Information

If you are a travel agent of Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd and you are currently holding consumer payments which you have not yet paid to Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd, you are advised not to refund consumers with these funds until you have received instruction from the Air Travel Trust.  Travel agents will be individually contacted by the CAA with specific instructions for these bookings.
