Travellers Cities Limited based in Kent has ceased trading with immediate effect. The firm sold city breaks to Spain and Italy and the USA.

The following information is for consumers who are either overseas or hold forward bookings which include a flight, accommodation and other services with the company.

Consumers overseas

If you are currently overseas and purchased flight inclusive trip through Travellers Cities using a scheduled flight, the flight remains valid for the return to the UK. Passengers are advised to check with the Airline to confirm this.

Consumers due to travel

If you have a flight only, or a flight, accommodation and other services booking with Travellers Cities and have been issued with tickets on a scheduled service, the flight remains valid, and you may choose to travel. If your trip includes accommodation and other elements you should be aware that there is a risk that the accommodation or other elements of the purchase have not been paid for, and you may be asked to pay again to receive these services. You should check with the accommodation or other service provider to confirm availability and the costs of repurchasing prior to travel.

Consumers with flights, accommodation and other services trips, who elect to travel and are requested to pay again to replace the other elements purchased, should ensure that they retain a receipt for the purchases, which includes the method of payment as this will be required in order to submit a claim to us for reimbursement. It should also be noted that claims cannot exceed the total cost of the contract entered into with Travellers Cities.

Consumers with trips that are yet to commence, and who booked directly with the firm, who have not been issued with airline tickets, need to read the guidance and if required complete a claim form in order to claim a refund. Please carefully read the guidance attached to the claim form.

Travellers Cities also sold through travel agents and consumers with forward trips made via an agent should contact their agent in the first instance and prior to submitting the claim form.
