Enjoy Holidays Limited ATOL 10360
16 August 2012
The following information is for consumers of Enjoy Holidays Limited who are either overseas or yet to travel on a booking which include flights, accommodation and other services with the company. Please make sure you read all the information provided.
Important Information about bookings made before 30 April 2012
If you booked flights and accommodation with Enjoy Holidays prior to 30 April 2012 holiday accommodation may be contracted with third party suppliers and therefore will not be protected under the company’s ATOL. Please check your booking documents for details. If this is the case, you should contact the supplier to establish whether your booking will be honoured. You may still be able to make a claim for the flight element if you are unable to travel.
What to do if you haven’t yet travelled: Inclusive package bookings with Enjoy Holidays Limited (ATOL 10360)
If you have a flight inclusive package booking with Enjoy Holidays Limited under ATOL 10360 and have been issued with tickets on a scheduled or low cost carrier, the flight should remain valid. You should check with the airline or other travel provider. If you choose to travel and your booking includes accommodation and other elements, you should be aware that there is a risk that these elements of the holiday have not been paid for, and you may be asked to pay again to receive these services. You should check with the accommodation or other service provider to confirm the availability and the costs of repurchasing before travelling.
If you choose to travel and are asked to pay again to replace the other elements purchased, you should ensure you keep a clear receipt for the purchase showing the method of payment. This will be required in order to submit a claim to us if you are eligible for a refund. It should also be noted that there is a limit to the amount you can claim, which is subject to the value of the contract entered into with Enjoy Holidays Limited. Please refer to our Payment Policies for full details.
Consumers are also able to rebook accommodation and other services before departure and submit claims to us provided the receipt showing the method of payment is available. All purchases should be of the same standard or board basis as the original booking.
If you have a flight, accommodation and other services booking with Enjoy Holidays Limited but have not been issued with valid tickets the holiday has been cancelled. You will need to complete a claim form and send it to the address shown on the covering letter for your claim to be considered.
What to do if you haven’t yet travelled: flights only bookings
If you have a flight on a scheduled or low cost carrier made with Enjoy Holidays Limited, and have been issued with tickets on a scheduled airline service of other flight provider, the flights should remain valid and you will be able to travel as ticketed. Please check with the flight provider. Where this is not the case and you have a contract with Enjoy Holidays under ATOL 10360, you can make a claim.
Sales of other companies’ package holidays and flights
Enjoy Holidays was also an ABTA travel agent. If your holiday paperwork refers to a different ATOL holder than Enjoy Holidays Limited, your contract should remain valid and you should contact the company shown to confirm this.
What to do if you are away now
If you are currently overseas on an Enjoy Holidays holiday and protected under their ATOL, your travel arrangements back to the UK should remain valid. Consumers are advised to check with the airline or other flight provider to confirm this. If you have to pay again for your inbound flight or holiday accommodation, the CAA will consider claims for a refund subject to Payment Policy terms
