Is the notification required immediately?
No but as soon as practicable but not later than six months. Bear in mind that without this being done, in the case of a death, the burial maybe delayed.
Births, Deaths and Missing Persons
- Who's responsibility is it to inform the CAA of a birth or death on board a UK Registered Aircraft?
- What if the registered owner is the deceased person?
- Is the notification required immediately?
- What if the birth or death occurs on a foreign registered aircraft?
- If the birth/death occurred whilst the aircraft was on the ground does this still need to be notified to the CAA?
- What form(s) should be submitted to record a birth, death or missing person on board a UK Registered Aircraft?
