What is a comprehensive eyesight examination?
If you need corrective lenses and have an ATL limitation on your medical certificate you must ensure that you check your eyesight prescription. If your prescription is between +5 dioptres and –6dioptres you must have a comprehensive eyesight examination every 5 years. If your prescription is greater then –6 dioptres you must have a comprehensive eyesight examination every 2 years.
