The CAA statutory charges consultation for 2014/15 sets out the proposed amendments to the CAA Schemes of Charges which are planned to be effective as from 1 April 2014. For most of the main CAA Schemes, prices have been held at 2013/14 levels, including some price reductions. The CAA is introducing a new Scheme – Aviation Security, on which it pre-consulted industry separately concerning the proposed charging mechanisms over the six-week period to 13 September 2013.
Proposed addition and amendments to the CAA Statutory 2014/15 Schemes of Charges
The CAA statutory charges consultation contains the proposed amendments to the CAA Schemes of Charges within the consultation documents show below, which are planned to be effective as from 1 April 2014.
As from 1 April 2014 the CAA will introduce the Aviation Security Scheme of Charges on which it sought industry comment on the charging mechanism in a pre-consultation over the six-week period to 13 September 2013. The CAA has considered the industry responses received and discussed the revised proposals with the CAA Finance Advisory Committee.
For the other CAA Schemes, the CAA has proposed a few structural changes with new charges, but generally has been able to hold prices at the 2013/14 levels whilst including some price reductions.
