Offshore Radio Operators, Helideck Landing Officers (HLO), Helideck Assistants and crews of Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRV) and other Support & Supply Vessels who operate VHF Aeronautical Radio Equipment are required to hold a UK CAA Offshore Aeronautical Radio Station Operator’s Certificate of Competence.
