Radio Communication Services (RCS) comprise Offshore Communications Service (OCS), Operational Control (OPC), Data Link and Recreational Aviation Aeronautical Radio Stations and Offshore Non-Directional Radio Beacons (NDBs) which are not subject to the Single European Sky Regulations and are not considered to be Air Traffic Services.

Aeronautical Radio Stations

Aeronautical radio station equipment may comprise fixed, stationary, vehicle, portable and hand held equipment consisting of transmitters, receivers and transceivers operating in the VHF Aeronautical Mobile (R) Service allocation 118 MHz to 136.975 MHz, using Double Sideband (DSB) Amplitude Modulation (AM) full carrier with 8.33 kHz or 25kHz channel spacing, intended for analogue voice and data link communications.
