The following are examples of templates of Operations manuals for JAR-OPS 3 helicopter operators with and without approval to carry dangerous goods as cargo and Area to Area operators.

Operators should use the template that is appropriate to their operation and complete it according to their company’s procedures, instructions and policies. Once completed, the Dangerous Goods Office will approve the operations manual.

Helicopter operators must obtain approval from the Dangerous Goods Office prior to the carriage of dangerous goods.
