Information on sitting Flight Crew Ground Examinations

CAA ONLINE PORTAL ISSUES

Our Portal Service has been affected by issues in the Microsoft Azure Environment. Microsoft Engineers continue to investigate these problems.

This interruption in Microsoft services to the CAA will delay the release of Examination results for Flight Crew scheduled on the 21st November 2014. Results will be released as soon as the Microsoft service is fully restored.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has introduced electronic examinations (e-Exams) for Flight Crew Licences to replace the paper-based examinations system.  The programme will cover all examinations taken by applicants for UK and European (Part-FCL) professional pilot licences and Instrument Ratings.
