This page provides access to the lists of UK Type A and Type B Airline Licence Holders and Air Transport Licence holders

Operating Licence Holders

Holders of Operating Licences are able to operate within the European Economic Area with no further licences required, but for operations outside of the EEA, the carrier will need to hold route licences. Air carriers based in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, both of which are outside the EEA, may require Air Transport Licences.

Type A Licence Holders

Operators permitted to carry passengers, cargo and mail on aircraft with 20 or more seats.

Type B Licence Holders

Operators permitted to carry passengers, cargo and mail on aircraft with less than 20 seats and/or weigh less than 10 tonnes.

Air Transport Licence Holders

Operators who are registered or based in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.Air Transport Licence Holders List
