Guidance for Applicants

Application to renew an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.

Pre-requisites

You must hold an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.

You can only apply to renew your licence 60 days prior to the expiry date.

Currently there is no experience requirement to renew your licence.

Cost

The cost for this service is £320.00

An additional fee will be payable if you wish your documents to be returned by secure courier.

Processing time

We will endeavour to process applications within 10 working days from date of receipt.

Validity period

The licence is valid for 5 years from the issue date.

Please send the application form and your orginal licence to:

Alternatively you can visit the Public Counter at Aviation House which is open from 08:30-16:30 Monday-Friday.

What to expect

  • Once we receive your application, it will be assessed and renewed by a Licensing Officer.
  • The licence will be signed by a licensing officer and dispatched.
