Guidance for Applicants

Description

Application to issue  a duplicate EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence so the holder can continue to issue certificates of release to service applicable to the categories and types held on their 66 AML licence.


Pre-requisites

You must have previously met all the requirements to have held an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.


Cost

The fee for this service is £46.00.

An additional fee will be payable if you wish your documents to be returned by secure courier.


Processing time

We endeavour to process applications within 10 working days from date of receipt.


Validity period

The licence is valid for 5 years from the issue date.

How to apply

Alternatively you can visit the Public Counter at Aviation House which is open from 08:30-16:30 Monday-Friday


What to expect

  • Once the application has been received, payment will be taken and an assessment of your application will be completed by a Licensing Officer.
  • The licence will be re-issued and signed by the Licensing Officer and dispatched.
