Description

Application to amend EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with the Change of Name or Nationality.


Pre-requisites                 

You must hold an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.


Cost

The fee for this service is £46.00.

There is no charge if your name change is a consequent upon marriage or divorce.


Processing time

We endeavour to process applications within 10 working days from date of receipt.


Validity period

The licence is valid for 5 years from the issue date.


You will need to provide

  • A letter detailing your request
  • Certified copies of documentation to support the request to change your name/nationality (marriage certificate/change of name deed/passport)
  • Original Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
  • SRG 1187 Payment form

You must ensure that copies of all documents are certified as true copies by your Quality Manager or the most senior person within the organisation.

Alternatively you can visit the Public Counter at Aviation House which is open from 08:30-16:30 Monday-Friday


What to expect

  • Once the request has been received, payment will be taken and your Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence will be updated.
  • The Licence will be signed by the Licensing Officer and dispatched.
