I hold a Part-66 B2 licence issued in another EU state. I would like to take the B1 exams in this country, as this is where I work, as I plan to extend my licence privileges. Can I do this?

Yes. However, it has become apparent that some other EU competent authorities require additional modules, over and above that required by the UK CAA for category-to-category conversion. You may find when presenting your National issuing authority with your exam passes (issued in the UK) that they request further module passes.
