The following exemptions have been issued to permit the exercise of NPPL privileges to fly in Channel Islands airspace:
If you intend to make use of these exemptions, please ensure you read the Explanatory note and Exemptions and are aware of all the conditions the exemptions are subject to. It is considered sensible that any pilots wishing to take advantage of either of these exemptions should carry a photocopy of it with their pilots licence.
Caution: Please be aware that Channel Islands airspace is very close to the French Airspace. These exemptions do not allow you to fly in French Airspace. Any Infringements are taken seriously
Isle of Man
You may also be aware that a similar exemption applies to the Isle of Man but again please make sure you read the Exemption and are aware of all the conditions the exemption is subject to.
