Application and guidance information associated with operation in Oceanic and Remote airspace designated as RNAV10 (RNP10)
Airspace in Oceanic and remote regions of the world is increasingly being designated as RNP10 airspace. This permits 50NM track separation and requires two Long Range Navigation Systems (LRNS) to be fitted to the aircraft.
Aircraft operating in RNP10 airspace shall have a 95% radial error of less than 10NM.
In accordance with the Air Navigation Order 2009 (Article 124), approval is necessary for flight in RNP10 designated airspace.
Completed CAA Form CA4040 should be sent to the Flight Operations Policy Department. At present, no charge is made for RNP10 approval for AOC Holders. Applicants should also inform their assigned Flight Operations Inspector.
Completed CAA Form CA4040 should be sent to the Flight Operations Policy Department. Details of costs can be found in the CAA Scheme of Charges - General Aviation.
