Information and guidance associated with the Loading of Public Transport Flights
The correct loading of an aircraft is essential for safe flight operations. In order to ensure that safe operating standards are maintained, the CAA has implemented a programme of audits and inspections.
Ramp inspections of aircraft are performed. Aircraft loading processes are observed in order to verify that operations are achieved in accordance with the relevant regulations and requirements. Samples of the associated documentation will also be viewed.
Audits are also performed at the operator’'s head office. Full reviews of all relevant documentation, processes and procedures are conducted. In addition to this, interviews with post holders or responsible persons are also carried out.
