The purpose of this consultation is to invite you to submit your views on a proposal to amend the Air Navigation Order (ANO) 2005 to include an article giving the RFFS a power of entry onto aircraft if they reasonably believe a fire to have broken out or to be about to break out, or an accident or incident to have occurred.  In each case the power is for the purposes of rescuing people or protecting them from serious harm.
