Main Content

Accessible Air Travel

European legislation providing legal rights for disabled people and people with reduced mobility to access air travel came into force in 2008. During 2009 the CAA reviewed how the legislation was working in the UK and asked a range of stakeholders for their views. Accessible Air Travel includes the views that were expressed and includes a number of recommendations that we will be discussing with stakeholders during 2010. It also sets out a number of actions that the CAA plans to take.

If you would like a printed version of any of the publications please contact us.

In-focus is a short summary document that may be helpful for consumers or those wishing to find out the background to our review and the key findings.

Accessible Air Travel is the full report providing the detailed views of stakeholder, CAA analysis views and recommendations.
