The Aircraft Registration Section of the CAA is responsible for maintaining:-

• The UK Register of Civil Aircraft
• The UK Register of Aircraft Mortgages
• The Registers of Births, Deaths and Missing Persons on UK Registered Aircraft

The Section is also responsible for the provision of information and statistics from these registers and the databases used to support them.

The section is staffed weekdays between 09:00 and 17:00 and is open to personal callers at CAA House between 10:00 and 16:00.  By prior arrangement, the section is available to carry out certain transactions, such as de-registrations or new registrations, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
