Consultation, the involvement of the people in the Government's work, is now an integral part of the policy making process in the UK.
Consultation enables the Government to be more open and its policies more effective by inviting and taking note of the views of relevant industries and other involved organisations and the public.
In line with Government policy the CAA consults on matters that include changes to legislation, the issue of new policy documents and Regulatory Impact Assessments (RIAs). Once we have published the final document ie amendment to the Air Navigation, the consultation is moved over to the archive.
