Reference:ORS4 No. 969 Title:General Exemptions to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011 (As Amended) - 'The Aircrew Regulation' Description:The CAA has identified a number of aspects of the Aircrew Regulation that have unintended effects. To mitigate these, the UK has notified to the Commission and the Agency its intent to apply derogations from specific requirements in accordance with Article 14(6) of Regulation (EC) 218/2008. Pending the formal decision of the Commission, the CAA has issued General Exemptions that have the same effect as the proposed derogations for the holders of licences, certificates, authorisations and approvals issued by the UK CAA. Holders of such documents issued by other countries should seek advice from the issuing authorities.
There are 13 general exemptions in this record entry. An ‘explanatory note’ after each exemption explains its purpose and effect.
