Title:Single UK Distress and Diversion Cell
Description:The Distress and Diversion (D&D) Cells located at Swanwick and Prestwick currently provide emergency coverage throughout the London and Scottish FIRs respectively. However, as of the 12 December 2012, the Scottish/Prestwick D&D Cell will close, with the London/Swanwick D&D Cell taking responsibility for both the London and Scottish FIRs.
This CAP 493 SI was originally published on 2 November 2012. It has now been re-issued to amend the cancellation date from 31 December 2012 to 21 March 2013 which is the date it will be incorporated into CAP 493.
