Description:The Civil Aviation Authority’s Official Record Series 4 (Four) contains a General Exemption which permits holders of valid aeroplane licences issued by the CAA (other than National Private Pilot’s Licences (NPPL(A)s) to exercise the privileges of those licences as if they are NPPL(A)s. This is in the circumstances where the licence holder does not hold a medical certificate appropriate to the licence, but does have a Medical Declaration appropriate to the NPPL(A).
