Description:Certification and Approval Procedures for products, usually first certificated or approved by the CAA, for which the CAA has primary responsibility as the Authority of the state of manufacture.
Issue 8 revises and amends several chapters following the introduction of the new maintenance and airworthiness management approvals at Issue 7. New Chapter A8-26 organisation approval has been introduced for organisations supporting recreational aviation.

For those organisations that continue to exercise their privileges under A8-20 during 2014, Issue 7 is available for reference only. Issue 7 will be removed on 31 December 2014 when organisations will have completed their transition to A8-23, A8-24, A8-25 and the A8-20 approvals will be withdrawn.
