How to request a replacement pilot licence
Pilots are required to have their licence with them when they fly.
The information below explains how to replace a licence that has been lost, damaged or stolen. Please note that if you do not already hold an EASA licence you may be required to convert your licence instead of applying for a replacement.

You can save your progress when completing the form, and revisit it at a later time by clicking “Save” and then following the on screen instructions. (Please note that you will be asked for a ‘Challenge Keyword’, and should choose a memorable word so that you can retrieve your information).
Please note, if you choose to pay by bank transfer or send supporting information manually, your application will be held in pending for a period of up to four weeks. If the payment or documentation is not received within this timescale your application will be cancelled. Original documents which have been submitted will be returned to the applicant and any money paid will be refunded minus the CAA refund fee as per the Scheme of Charges. If you choose to re-apply at a later date, you will need to complete another online application form
We strongly recommend using a secure courier for the delivery of any licences. Please note a signature is required for deliveries from our secure courier service.
If you wish the replacement licence to be collected from our public counter on your behalf we will require your written confirmation with details as to who will be collecting the licence. Please ensure that if the licence is being collected on your behalf, the person collecting the licence has photographic ID.
