Guidance for applicants

Overview


The EASA LAPL(A) licence allows you to fly EASA aeroplanes registered in the EU and non-EASA aeroplanes registered in the UK that come within the privileges of the licence.

The LAPL(A) allows you to fly on an unpaid basis as a Pilot in Command (PIC) for non-commercial aeroplane flights.

Who can apply


You must be at least 17 years old and have completed an approved LAPL(A) training course at an Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
