Airprox Report – 28 February 2013

An Airprox report has been filed involving an Airbus A319 and an Embraer 190. The incident took place at 07:23 hours.

The A319 was en-route to Berlin and the EMB190 was en-route to Glasgow. Both aircraft were receiving an air traffic service from London Terminal Control Centre. The incident took place at approximately 5,000 feet.

These details are subject to assessment by the independent UK Airprox Board. During 2011, the last year for which full data is available, there were 22 Airprox incidents involving commercial air transport with the absence of any risk bearing incidents.
