An Airprox report has been filed involving two passenger aircraft, an Airbus 320 and an Airbus 319. The incident took place at 34,000 feet over central Britain on 2 February 2013 at 17:35 hours.
The A320 was en-route to Manchester Airport and the A319 was en-route to Dublin Airport. Both aircraft were receiving an air traffic service from London Area Control Centre.
These details are subject to assessment by the independent UK Airprox Board. During 2011, the last year for which full data is available, there were 22 Airprox incidents involving commercial air transport with the absence of any risk bearing incidents.
