An Airprox report has been filed involving a Saab 2000 and an Airbus 319. The incident took place 14 miles east of Glasgow on 3 July 2012 at 09:33 hours.
The Saab 2000 was en-route to Inverness and the A319 was en-route to Heathrow. Both aircraft were receiving an air traffic service from ScACC. The incident took place at approximately 18,000 feet.
These details are subject to assessment by the independent UK Airprox Board. During 2010, the last year for which full data is available, there were 35 Airprox incidents involving commercial air transport with the absence of any risk bearing incidents.
