If you apply for a pilot licence using the online form, you will need to attach digital copies of documents.
The online form provides you with an opportunity to upload your documents after you have clicked “Submit” on the last page. If you
forget to upload a document, or need to add additional supporting documentation
at a later stage, you can email your documentation to the licensing team at FCLweb@caa.co.uk. You must include your
name, licence number and application number in the email to help us to match
this up to your application.
We can only accept full-size, double-sided and legible scans of documents sent to us in pdf format. We cannot accept photographs of documents.
Many scanning devices and photocopiers now have the ability create pdf documents from scans. Your ATO, your employer, or the staff at a public facility providing access to computers should be able to help you with the process.
